Thank you for your time

At first, I didn't take the class very seriously; I didn't really get into it until the very end. This is mainly because of my personality: I always put things off until the last minute. The teacher really helped me remember the dates—something I have a real problem with—and I'm very grateful for his help. This class really motivated me to take better care of myself.

As many of you already know, our instructor always prints out his slides for us, and he does this because he knows that his slides are easier to understand when they’re printed. But that’s not always the case. Sometimes the slides don’t explain everything and are more illustrative, or they have a lot of animations, and when you print them, everything appears all jumbled together, like my slide. That’s why it’s important to consider what would happen if your slide were printed. Handout and Notes Masters help you edit your slides, so they look exactly how you want them to when printed, such as applying themes, backgrounds, and more.

  1. Hi Josias, for not taking the class seriously you really did an excellent job. I can see how being able to print slide material can help your audience break down and understand the information you are presenting. Everyone learns and absorbs knowledge differently sometimes being able to take notes is very helpful.

  2. I am on the same boat as you by putting the class in the back burner when I have other important things to do. However, you are right about our professor helping us to be in track of things and what to do next. While he's not giving us the straight answers to the questions, he makes us think deeply. I also want to appreciate your TFT slides for the first presentation that you made. I always played league and never got curious about TFT but because of your presentation, I might have to consider it now. And by the way, did you know that the One Piece is real?

  3. Hi Josias, the part of your post about PowerPoint printing actually stood out to me because it is something people usually ignore until the formatting suddenly breaks apart on paper. I think your explanation about Handout and Notes Master was useful because presentations can look completely different once they are printed, especially with backgrounds, animations, and themes involved.

  4. Hi Josias, I really get it when you say you leave everything until the last minute 😭 but it’s nice that Professor Wu helped you stay on top of deadlines and was there when you needed help.

  5. Hello Josias. I have the opposite problem where I take things too seriously and stress myself out. There's a middle ground somewhere that I'm still searching for. I think whether or not printing out slides depends on the content of them. Could be better could be worse. You're slides were very impressive especially your second one, that one really stood out.

  8. Hi Josias. You have a point when you say that it is important to consider the look of your slides when they are printed. It is something that people can forget about, but it can change how the presentation is understood.

  9. Hey Josias, I think we can all agree to having issues with procrastination every once in a while. Being able to move past that and still do the assignment is what matters and in the end and you did just that.

  11. Hi Josias, I loved your creative PowerPoint presentation! I understand the putting things off and almost procrastinating. I realized this course really requires you to be ahead if you want to take a break or else you'll be behind. Good job on your achievements!

  13. Hi Josias. It is kind of sad that you didn't take the class seriously until the end, I'm sure you would have enjoyed it much more. By the way, I love how you include the Straw Hat skull mark in your slideshow presentation.
